To add a NFC Tag to your account you must log into your uPatrol App. NFCs are only use for Android devices. Once you are logged into your App follow these steps:


  1. Ensure your android phone has NFC enabled.
  2. Select check point assignment.
  3. Select scan check point tag.
  4. Hold the NFC Tag next to the back of your phone. You will be notified in the App that the Tag was successful.
  5. Select Assign.


If you have already set up your uPatrol account and have created clients and client sites, you can associate the NFC Tag to the client site by following these steps:


  1. Ensure your android phone has NFC enabled.
  2. Select check point assignment.
  3. Select scan check point tag.
  4. Hold the NFC Tag next to the back of your phone. You will be notified in the App that the Tag was successful.
  5. Enter a description in the description field.
  6. Enter the site code in the site code field. Make sure the site code matches the client site code in the online portal.
  7. Select Assign.


After you select assign your NFC Tag will be assigned to that client site as a check point.
